The Community Corps represents a unique and powerful community of nonprofits, corporations and skilled professionals, who share a passion for using technology to make a difference in people's lives. The Community Corps achieves this by matching pro bono resources with nonprofits in need of support.

This was a 60 minute Nonprofit 911 webinar featuring Melinda Chang, Sonia Karkare and Rachell Bordoy.

Melinda Chang is Program Director of The Community Corps, NPower’s newest initiative dedicated to connecting pro bono experts to nonprofits in need of IT assistance. Melinda began her career at J.P Morgan Chase as an investment banker in J.P. Morgan's Equity Capital Markets division. There, she participated in the origination and execution of equity transactions, including initial public offerings and roadshows in the technology, media and telecommunications space. She then joined NPower in 2009 when the organization was undergoing a strategic transformation in its product offerings and services. Currently, Melinda is spearheading The Community Corps initiative and is leading a team at NPower to build and market the network, execute program activities and steer the program to its vision of making a deep impact in the nonprofit community. Melinda is a graduate from New York University Stern School of Business and holds a dual degree in Finance and International Business. She is very excited to leverage her skills and contacts in the technology and corporate space to make positive impact in the nonprofit community.

Rachell Bordoy joined NPower in November, 2010 as The Community Corps’ User Experience Manager responsible for TCC’S marketing, outreach, user support, operations, and overall client experience. Rachell joins us from RR Donnelley, formerly Bowne & co where she served as a Sr. System’s Analyst for 2 years in charge of Bowne’s Enterprise CRM Solution. Rachell was a Posse Scholar and a student at Middlebury College in 2002 and transferred to Columbia University where she is currently pursuing a degree in Philosophy with a special concentration in symbolic logic.
